Design-Build - Single Source Contract

Traditional Design-Bid-Build
Also known as "Bid-Spec", it has been the most widely understood delivery approach for building construction. The owner selects and contracts with an architect or engineering professional to prepare building design and construction documents. Completed drawings are then competitively bid. Construction work is awarded to the lowest qualified bidder.
